Saw them in Buffalo. Always loved AAA……apparently I was far to drunk to notice that the lead singer had food poisoning and was vomiting into a bucket in between songs. When they stopped playing and cut the set early….I tried to start a riot……by yelling “let’s riot”. Then i barged backstage and found him sitting at a table looking awful - vomiting on the floor. I felt like an asshole after that. The prior time I saw them I got kicked out a few songs into the set because I threw a beer can hahaha

I was raised in a cult that lied about and hid so many things of the world away from me and Fest 15 was the first concert that I went to on my own without telling anyone, I went to see the flatliners and every single band that played before and after them were so amazing it all just completely changed my life, no exaggeration. No matter how bad things get this Festival is a permanent Beacon of Hope keeps me going, so excited to be there this year again!

Tie Dye/Youth Crew Blonde cat. I’ve been working/ booking shows the last 15 years. At 31 I’ve spent more years on thIs Earth with hardcore being the most important part of my life than I haven’t. If you think I was being a dick this particular night at work you’d REALLY HATE to actually see me get mean. This show was fucking awesome but what y’all also don’t know is NEDS LIP GOT BUSTED OPEN AND BLOODIED BY HIS OWN MIC THE GIG BEFORE THIS ON THIS TOUR that I’d also worked and I had specifically been asked “Don’t let kids crowd me and just stand on stage they need to get up there and then dive off” not to mention at the time in Florida if you’re REALLY a FLHCOG you know we weren’t a stage diving State, we were always about “head walk across everyone to the singer/mic” rather than stage diving. As someone who grew up in Florida Hardcore I viewed stage dives as an “up north” thing. If just remember being bummed I wasn’t climbing around on top of everyone screaming Title Fight cause this was their peak and I cherish this memory and I’m so glad and lucky I got to have the job I did. Hardcore rules. Hardcore is still the most important part of my life. I rule. Glitterer rules. You rule for reading this.
